Telecom Analyst

Description:

KOMI Business Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst. The selected candidate(s) will consult on a variety of IT Projects that require a diverse set of skills and experience. Projects will include both traditional and non-traditional telecom challenges requiring development and implementation of transformative IT strategies. Positions are remote and part-time (approx 10-15 hours/mo). Occasional travel may be required, depending on the needs of the clients. Salary/benefits range from $1000-$3000/mo with travel reimbursement and opportunities for bonuses. The initial process requires a series of in-personal interviews to be conducted either in our Austin, Texas location or at various overseas locations.

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, computer engineering or other technical field or the equivalent relevant experience;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) complex technical concepts and project information, explanations, and concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Documented strong interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated sound judgement;
  • Strong knowledge of concepts related to IT systems;
  • Ability to efficiently organize, plan, and prioritize a variety of complex tasks.
Engineer – Infrastructure Development

Description:

KOMI Business Solutions is seeking a Engineer for Infrastructure Development. This position requires subject matter expertise in the telecommunications sector (inside plant, outside plant, network engineer, NOC engineer, IT management). Positions are part-time and can largely be completed in candidate’s home country. Quarterly travel will be required, depending on the needs of the clients. Salary/benefits range from $1000-$3000/mo with travel reimbursement and opportunities for bonuses.

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or the equivalent relevant experience;
  • Knowledge in design of operating mechanisms including design of mechanical parts;
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) complex technical concepts and project information, explanations, and concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD;
  • Demonstrated sound judgement;
  • Strong knowledge of concepts related to IT systems;
  • Ability to efficiently organize, plan, and prioritize a variety of complex tasks.
